POPE BENEDICT'S PRAYER INTENTION FOR AUGUST

That the human family may know how to respect God’s design for the world and thus become ever more aware of the great gift of God which Creation represents for us,

That through discernment of gifts and commitment to spiritual formation, holiness may be promoted among the people of
God.

JUSTICE & PEACE

THANK YOU – over this year we have raised £4350.77 for the charities supported by the parish Special Projects Fund.

The J&P group annual report is now available – please take a copy.   And don’t forget!  The annual AUCTION of items and promises in aid of the charity Fund is now taking place on Sunday 14 September as part of our parish celebration.

There will also be a stall selling other second-hand items, such as costume jewellery or good quality kitchenware.  Please fill in a slip (return to the box in porch) if you are able to donate anything.  Cakes also needed to sell on the day!

Thank you for all your generosity and support.
